Summer may be halfway over, but festival season is still going strong! We have Outside Lands this weekend up north, FYF Fest, Treasure Island, and many more to look forward to. Unlike Coachella, the weather is a bit cooler so we can’t just run around in a bathing suit tops. Half of the fun of attending these outdoor concerts is figuring out what to wear. That being said, we’ve looked through our closet to show you some great outfits you’ll be able to sport while your out and about!
Being a regular at Outside Lands for the past few years, I’ve learned to always carry a jacket. San Francisco’s weather is SUPER unpredictable! During the day the weather can extremely nice- I’m talking clear skies and a light breeze nice. However, once the sun goes down it can drop 10+ degrees! Nothing is worst than being chilly during your favorite act. That’s why I think our Tiera Shorts are the perfect solution. Pair these teal patterned shorts with a white tank and bring a light sweater to throw over once the sun goes down. Make sure to pair this cute outfit with some gladiator sandals and heart shape glasses and your good to go!
FYF Fest, LA’s very own music festival, has one of the best line-ups to date! On August 22 and 23, Frank Ocean, Flume, FKA Twigs, Morrissey, and many more take the stage at Exposition Park. Considering this has been one of the hottest summers we have had in a while, wearing dress would be perfect for this concert. Maven’s Black + Floral Street Dress is one that will definitely be a showstopper! This breezy floral number has side slits to make it perfect for dancing the day away. Match it with some chucks and a few layered necklaces and you’ll be taking away the spotlight from some of the main acts!
Once again, we travel up north to San Francisco to listen to some of the best upcoming artists at Treasure Island Music Festival. On the smaller scale of festivals, this two-stage venue is more than music. Art, food, drinks, and everyone’s favorite activity, the ferris wheel, take over the small island neighboring San Francisco. DL1961 are our favorite when it comes to denim and we’re absolutely obsessed with the distressed look the Emma style has! This may be a small island, however trust me when I say you do a lot of walking. Comfort is key to lasting all day and night here! Cuff the bottom of your denim and pair it with a classic tee for a laid back look. Pair it with some temporary tattoos and a headpiece or a hat to complete the outfit. Make sure you have Shazam, you’ll be finding new artist all day!
